This session introduces a strategic and financially viable path forward: Energy Savings Performance Contracting (PC), a results-driven mechanism that enables comprehensive facility renewal without upfront capital investment. The presentation outlines a holistic PC roadmap that optimizes every major building system. This approach integrates five critical components that together deliver long‑term performance and sustainability: High‑efficiency building systems; Targeted insulation, window, and roofing improvements; Integration of renewable energy solutions; Upgraded infrastructure; and Coordinated strategies to advance sustainability goals.

Saikrishna Ganesan, ME, CEM, is a Project Development Engineer at Performance Services, where he leads investment-grade energy, water, and wastewater audits for K-12 schools, higher education, healthcare, and government facilities. His work focuses on uncovering data-driven conservation opportunities, developing cost-benefit assessments, and shaping integrated solutions that enhance building performance, reliability, and sustainability. He specialized in advanced analytics, energy baselining, strategic energy management, and the development of measurable, high-impact conservation strategies across sectors including food and beverage, aerospace, healthcare, foundries, plastics, automotive, universities, and data centers.

Saikrishna Ganesan, CEM, is a Project Development Engineer at Performance Services, where he leads investment-grade energy, water, and wastewater audits for K-12 schools, higher education, healthcare, and government facilities. His work focuses on uncovering data-driven conservation opportunities, developing cost-benefit assessments, and shaping integrated solutions that enhance building performance, reliability, and sustainability.

Before joining Performance Services, Sai spent seven years at Graphet Data Mining supporting more than sixty large industrial and commercial facilities nationwide. He specialized in advanced analytics, energy baselining, strategic energy management, and the development of measurable, high-impact conservation strategies across sectors including food and beverage, aerospace, healthcare, foundries, plastics, automotive, universities, and data centers.

Sai holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Energy Manager and has been an invited speaker on advanced HVAC controls, performance-driven building automation, and applied data analysis for building energy efficiency. For the past 11 years, his practice has centered on whole-facility, systems-based energy management rooted in rigorous engineering and real-world operational understanding.
